At least one other defense vehicle maker bid. I'm pretty sure AM General did.

The post office has had a long standing ban on diesel motors in their daily driver vans.
It is very unlikely that will change.
But I would love for the 5 speed stick diesel transit to come over the ocean, it always dissapointed me that fords first Gen transit wasn’t the diesel stick.

They got stuck ordering those because they were all out of the one's with large windshields.
Looks like at least 40% of the new USPS fleet will now be battery powered.
