New TourX

After 3 years and 100k of trouble free Verano driving I got hit by a minivan and had to buy a new car. We ended up with a 2019 Buick Regal TourX Essence with sunroof. So far, it's quite an amazing car compared to what I've had previously rides amazing and is very comfortable.

IIRC this isnt one of them.. and I do actually like it quite abit.

Yup. Made in Germany, rebadged Opel Insignia.

China is keeping Buick alive...80% of them are sold there.
We'll see if that keeps up with the recent trade disruptions!

I would sure as heck look at a TourX if I were shopping right now, ground clearance would probably be my #1 concern about it.
The performance sounds great and AWD sure fits my bill.

Yes, it's the only engine option offered on the TourX. What engine would you want instead?

I think the engine is fine. I wish they'd put a better trans unit in it though, and include an "S" setting on it.

I really like these.
I believe it uses the 2.0 LTG (turbo) same engine that is in my Malibu.

I have one. 2.0 Turbo. Aisen 8 speed transmission.

I had noise coming from front end when weather was cold. Under 50F.
There is a TSB to replace Lower Control Arms (on 2018's). I got it done and and now quiet even at lower temperature. You may have to wait until Weather gets cold to hear it. Sounds complicated but an easy fix.
Also had dealer reflash computer to correct dash display problem.

It's the Subaru that she has been waiting for, which Subaru never built. She's had 5 Subaru wagons in the past.

I think I know what her next car will be...
