New tool thread

I own lots of Craftsman and HF screwdrivers and have been happy with them for many years. They dont break the bank and work very well in most situations. Except stripped screws (aka strippers).

I recently had a few strippers to deal with, and this forum led me to Vessel. It arrived today and I immediately tested it on a stripper that stymied my new Craftsman P2. Wow! The Vessel really is a game changer! Now I have to phase out all of the lesser models...

Dude I've got the previous long version and it's great but I think the high speed concept is fantastic. I haven't used one yet but when I'm frustrated and in a hurry sometimes the "normal" ratchets seem really slow. It's all in my head, but then again, so is everything :D

I think Acme is still doing 10% for a few more hours tonight w code POTUS.....

13.5" per the HD specs.

Still only 35 ft/lbs

I use my M12 ratchets in 1/4" and 3/8" extensively. I bought the 3/8" Fuel in normal length when they first came out several years ago, but returned it because the head was too big for my uses.

Got some pinch weld pads for the jack stands. It was hard deciding which ones thru mail order because there's no size "standards". These are a bit small but the rubber pad is supported on the ends and under the flat surfaces; not so much in the center.

These are 2-ton (?) Mack branded stands (I think they're made by Rally, sourced from Walmart). I have a pair of 4-ton, MVP Pro-Lift stands and these pads do not fit these; the stand pad is too wide.

I'll keep looking for proper fit pads. Until I find them, these will do the job.

Those are nice pads. I don’t mind that they seem flimsy, and want them to give. Where did you get them?

Haven't used it yet, but the extra length (plus the reduced thickness at the drive end) should prove beneficial. I don't find it to be drastically heavier than their older fuel ratchets.
