Well done! Everybody needs at least 1 SO ratchet. Full disclosure, I inherited most of these.
Have you tried contacting a local dealer? Or maybe emailing Snap-on for a rebuild kit? I know someone who had one they no longer had the kits for so they sent him a new ratchet and he didn’t have to send the other one in.

SnapOn should send you a kit if you contact them. They used to have online chat (which was great) but now I can't find it anymore

I’ve been to the orange store of auto parts lol. Napa and Advance didn’t have anything I was looking for and O’Reilly is so unfriendly we don’t even go in there really. Needed the 21mm because no mechanic can be trusted without one lol and my Craftsman China polished lobster claw one spreads the jaws every time I use the open end and I’ve had good luck with Duralast stuff in the past. Got another 13mm too don’t need that unless I’m working on something like Ford or Mopar which is why I got it for those stupid new Ram trucks that have the plug right above the sway bar so a socket won’t go on and I busted my knuckles with a regular sized 13mm. Also picked up a 6 point 10mm as my others are in sets or have disappeared lol and after rounding off one of those 10mm Chevy drain plugs with a 12 point one I figured let me go ahead and get an extra one. Then got shallow and deep 21mm 3/8 drive sockets. Good for many things I might buy some 3/8 impacts soon so hopefully they will include that size but if not at least I’ll have a chrome one. Was going to buy the wrenches from Snap-on but decided to save up for a whole set and just buy these for now plus you always need an extra and can never have too many.
I agree I have some of the older Taiwan made Duralast stuff with the blue and red stripes when they had those and they are definitely better. Pretty much these are Gearwrench as they are made by Apex tool group who also makes TEQ for Advance. Gearwrench quality has definitely gone down the last few years. I believe as far as parts store tools goes Napa is the best and all the others are below. If Napa had what I needed I’d of gotten those. They maybe double the price but also double the quality. I had debated ordering them online from a brand like Capri or Tekton but I like being able to get things in person.
The old Taiwanese Duralast stuff arguably or nearly rivaled Carlyle today. But you'd find a gem, go back a couple years later and poof! it was gone, replaced by something MIC with less metal, less weight and fewer features. Too bad but 'tis the times...
