Look at the HTHS delta between the 0W30 and 0W40; it's about 0.8. The delta between 0W20 and 5W20 is only slighty less.
The flash points are lower and the volatilities are higher for the 0W weights because the starting weights for these oils is lower. Generally, for lower weight oils, the majority oil is a a 3.4 to 4 cSt and a few percentage of heavy weight is added for stability. You need this to get the low pour ponts.
Generally speaking, any Noack 11% or lower and flash point of 375 F or higher is good.
