New House windows recommendation

Nope, it certainly isn't.

My wife and I went back and forth about what brand of windows we wanted to purchase.
Eventually, after looking at all the different brands and quality of windows, we settled on Pella 350 series.

Then we had to choose double or triple pane, and that depended on which room the window was going into. Master bedroom and main living room got triple panes, while the others were all double panes.

Then finally the company to do the work.
We used Lowes for the French Doors and the large living room window, while Pella was contracted for the two bedroom windows, and the garden box window in the kitchen.

Our experience with the Denver Pella Showroom group is what will always make us go to the nearest Lowes for future Pella window purchases, however. Their office manager/secretary/whatever screwed up several windows when they were entering the order in their system at the office, left out all of our window screens, and switched the master bedroom triple pane window to a double pane window (while still charging us for the triple pane, of course) and took months to resolve all of these issues. It shouldn't take months for them to provide screens, but that's exactly what they did.

Another development. We talked to a construction guy that goes to our church today. VERY interesting into the insight he had on windows and the cost.
He is going to come over and take a look see.

Going very slow, may even put that plastic shrink wrap up as a stop gap.
