When it was working, it was a tack driverYea the viridian is working well for me. Holding zero and no issues. So I'm sure yours is a fluke.

That's just it. I intentionally used the what's likely the bottom of the barrel of my stock of .22, Remington Thunderbolt. No problem at all.Son's ex girlfriend had one of these she bought a couple of years ago. She used good ammo like Federal and Cci minis...never had a lick of trouble. Good price.
Took mine to the range yesterday afternoon. I intentionally mixed Remington Golden Bullet hollow points in with Federal AutoMatch.Put a couple hundred rounds through the TX22 today. All were federal Automatch ammo. Zero malfunctions today with around 200-250 rounds down range. The Remington Drilube did the trick! All 5 magazines ran perfectly

The Automatch is apparently "optimal" for pistolsTook mine to the range yesterday afternoon. I intentionally mixed Remington Golden Bullet hollow points in with Federal AutoMatch.
It didn't like the Golden Bullet hollow points at all.
I'll clean the magazines up and spray them with Wonder Lube dry lube and give them another try.
Veridian should be sending me a replacement any day now.
Gun shoots Thunderbolt no problem but hates Golden Bullet... interesting
Had my 10/22 and it shoots anything I put in it well. Bought a steel target tree. Adds another layer of fun.

The federal Automatch has been more reliable for me than the CCI mini mag.In my somewhat limited experience with .22s, CCI ammo, particularly the “mini-mags”, runs well and is reliable.
Both go bang about as reliably as I can get. I take advantage of whats on sale and recently got a killer deal on Mini Mags so I bought 5000 40gr for $350.The federal Automatch has been more reliable for me than the CCI mini mag.
It's a colorful box.Gotta love their ads.

Fathers Day Special $249.00Nice gun purchase, you'll love it. Mine eats anything in sight without so much as a hiccup. Most ammo works for me, but some is very dirty (Aguila). All thats been through it lately, and for the forseeable future, are CCI Mini Mags. Its like the Mobil 1 of .22LR ammo, great stuff and can be bought at Walmart for cheap money. I also got the extra 4 mag and range bag deal when I purchased mine.
Palmetto State Armory has the T.O.R.O. Gen 2 pistol, 22 rds. and 16 rds., for ~$299.

If i were to buy an optic, I'd go CyeleeFathers Day Special $249.00
However what would the Green Dot Optic in the OP cost to add on?
I've had excellent experience with Feyachi RDS36 on 2 rifles. If i were to buy an optic, I'd go Cyelee
Amazon has the 3 MOA green dot Taurus version for around $200.Fathers Day Special $249.00

The selection in the footprint that fits the TORO slide, RMSc, is limited. I just received my Veridian warranty replacement for my new TX22 TORO. Will install and sight in Sunday and take it to the range Monday.Amazon has the 3 MOA green dot Taurus version for around $200.
As @shortyb stated, it's about $200. I'm not so sure it's worth that, but if it's included in the package like the KY Gun Co deal with 5 magazines and the optic for $330, it's a great deal. Veridian was excellent in replacing my faulty original green dot. When it worked, it was great. Will find out soon how the replacement holds up.Fathers Day Special $249.00

Hope it all works out. With the popularity of pistol red (or green) dot optics these days, it seems everyone is making one. Including cheap, knockoff types (NOT saying this about Veridian) so you really need to be careful and read up on the one you may purchase and take reviews with a grain of salt.As @shortyb stated, it's about $200. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Veridian RFX11 is significantly overpriced at about $200.Hope it all works out. While my Holosuns are manufactured in China, the company is headquartered in the good ole USA. All of the design and research for their lasers and optics is conducted here also and quality control, even though put together in China, is superb. Good price points too. My 6 MOA red dot was only a few bucks more than the Veridian FWIW.
