Well, at least WD gives you an upgrade. I just get back green label 'rebuilt' drives.
I just did a HD test a little bit ago. My array actually outstrips my SSD in terms of raw throughput. About 300MB/s at the beginning dropping to 225MB/s at the very end. The SSD kills it in access time of course. .1ms instead of 12.6ms.

I have not done much gaming with it yet myself. I let my brother play Crysis on it yesterday. Did 1600x1200 on all high. All very high was a little too low framerate. If I play with the settings some more Im sure I can get some very high.
Im actually downloading Borderlands right now. Just waiting for that to finish and Ill play that.

Borderlands is awesome, I've beat it twice, and played both expansions. REALLY fun game. We LAN it a lot.

Do you ever play Left 4 Dead 2?
I play that a lot with my buddies, online campaign mode.

That's how I run it too, except 1920x1080.

No, but I do have Steam and my buddy Paul plays it, so maybe I'll grab a copy

L4D2 is exceptional. I log quite a bit of hours on that game.

Never gets old beating down hordes with a frying pan or guitar, and playing co-operatively at the same time!

Nice clock speeds!
I have not pushed my 860 yet.. Still trying to work out the rest of the kinks before I dive into it. (and get a better cooler, and maybe even a more accommodating case too)

Yeah, Im considering lapping my heat sink to see if I can get better temps.
Actually, I think I would get more improvement from lapping the CPU. The heat spreader is bowl shaped. I cut the AS5 with a razor and I scrape metal on the sides yet I have a thick layer in the middle.
I dont know if Im ready to do that to a $200+ part though.
