This girl that know has had issues corrdinating her lease for her new apartment. I have known her for a year, as we have has several classes together at the university. Her lease ends at her old apt apartment on the 30th and her new apartment will not be ready until the 5th. She got laid off so she is tight on money and she was going to go and stay in a hotel for the time with money she doesn't really have. I have been their, I was homeless and street bound at one point. I don't want her to have that feeling so I have offered her my apartment for that time. I will be out of town during that time and told her that won't be a problem. She is not a party girl, very private, and clean so I figured she could "watch over the place while I'm gone". She sent me a text that reads " you don't mind me at your apartment alone?" After that text I have begun to wonder why she'd say that. I have thought about it and made my desicion before I told her that was fine.
I have had people that opened their doors to me without second thoughts, who have become like family to me, so its in my nature to give others a hand when they are down on their luck.
Am I making a mistake here?
Thanks,
Dusty
