Need help - car accident near Lake Havasu?

Mom got a text from my cousin this morning, that her brother and his partner were killed in a traffic accident near Lake Havasu on Tuesday. ( She didn't find out until around midnight eastern on Weds night)
I can't find anything on the net. There were a few Facebook links about an accident, but I don't have ( or want) a Facebook account, so I can't see if anything matches up.
Pretty much no one in the family knows anything at this time....

And trying to Google his name, unfortunately I just brings up info about a fictional video game location that shares the same name....

I know. I’m sorry it wasn’t of any more help. The only things that FB and Instagram were talking about was how people drive, how long the road was closed, and the same description in the news article. No names were given anywhere, likely because the authorities won’t release them until after next of kin notification.

I am unsure what you’re expecting. The case is under investigation. Most likely never to be released beyond names of the deceased which you already know. I think this is fairly normal isn’t it?

That's them... Faron woods is my cousin. Mark is his partner.
It's not much to go on, but it's something..

Faron was an Air Force veteran, at one point he was a steward on Air Force One, for Bush Sr.

If I did my research right, the actual plane he served on is the one at the Regan Library.
( Not that any of that matters in this occasion)

My condolences.
At some point you can get the report from the police that were involved, but it may be a while to conclude the investigation of a fatal crash.
