Came off of a 2007 Durango, had Mobil Special 5w20 for oil. Filter had 8300 miles on it since last LOF 2 years ago. Torn in 8 separate spots that I can see, tried to get pics of the most obvious ones.

I did see a Proselect 21372 (replacement for an FL820S) from a Lincoln Navigator that was close to this bad,but not quite. Sadly PimTac, we use these filters where I work, as do many Napa autocare centers in the area, so a new 21085 went back on. Definitely pointed it out to the boss though. Also, we've been in the process of trying to switch to Napa Gold filters wherever possible, but until Napa has one of their filter sales it gets tough to be competitive on price.

Use a NAPA Gold instead. Or the WIX 51085 for those who don’t work at a NAPA shop like OP does. Fram Ultra is a non sequitur. It is apparent that NAPA seems to have changed the supplier of ProSelect recently from some other posts this week. Just showing the outside of a new ProSelect and one of same model number from a few year ago they look quite different. That thread is still active. True we don’t know how soon this oil filter tore.
