Napa ProSelect 27078 C&P Mercedes E350

NAPA ProSelect 27098 from a '11 Mercedes E350 with 115,000 miles. New to me, first oil since buying it last summer, unknown mileage... no issues. Replaced with Mahle OX345 and Castrol Edge 0W-40.

Looks good. Napa shows these for $5, based on this anecdote seem worth that. I was wondering what the difference might be for the top of the line Wix/Napa Gold in same application, did some googling. Several sites show the end caps to be like BMW cartridges with the yellow-ish color composite material as opposed to nylon used on topic NPS.

I've used the K&N version on my e320. Seemed to do alright.
