I nought a few of them yesterday for $7.54 a pop usually 12.49. Are they any good? How do they compare to mobil 1 filters or royal purples synthetic filters.

Build quality seems to be second to none on theese filters.

x2 here in MN. Awesome deal, couldn't pass it up so I bought two last Saturday. They are built like tanks and well worth every penny at $7.54.

Whichever is cheaper. They basically the same, provided you don't buy into the "Fram is [censored]" groupthink.

Haven't seen the efficiency spec on the Platinum, but I'm betting the Ultra has a better filtering efficiency (99% @ 20 microns), which is very good for a full synthetic media filter.

A 41515 (FL1A sized), 41516 (FL400s sized), 41085 (the "recommended" one, L14670 sized), or 41348 (FL910s sized) will work.

I was just curious, are they on sale or are they at this everyday price now?
