Strange... I worked part time at a NAPA from 1995-2019, and don’t remember ever seeing a Verdic filter.

This one is strange for me as well. I’ve never seen them before. They were given to me. I couldn’t even find anything on google about them.

They seem to be a Canadian thing, searching Google I came up with one ebay listing of a Verdic oil filter and it was in Canada.

Aparently they were a thing in Canada and they were sold at Napa Canada in the 2003 timeframe

They seem to have disapeared sometime after 2003ish, so that date code probably is 2003, there are a couple posts from the 02-03 timeframe but none after

So it seems the date code interpretation in the ball park (03). Verdic does seem like Canadian thing.

Afaik Uni-Select is a Canadian outfit that distributes Auto Extra filters, also a Wix 'made for' OF.
