How did you tote your tools around before this setup? Is there a flashlight in there?
I've got a couple flashlights in the center console. They charge whenever ignition is switched on.

I went from tools in rolls and a big tool bag, to this, back to the rolls in a rolling Husky box, to my current setup.

Wow, that’s great!!. Seems like all the foam wastes a lot of space, but everything has a place and nothing is shaking or vibrating or noisy. Really nice!

Kaizen Source makes the trays, I traced and cut all the layouts.

Would be a good application for a laser cutter, only if you could download a template of the tool for the tray.
Cutting that foam by hand must have taken a while, but obviously totally worth it and rewarding!

That’s a hella clean setup there. Shoot, now you got me thinking about cargo organization with a Packout plate and crate.

The big box on the left is my mobile tool room, with various bulbs, zip-ties, tapes, and other parts that fail somewhat regularly. I hate having to make a trip to the hangar and then backtrack.
I'm also working on a couple organizers specifically for electrical repair parts and spare fasteners.
