Motul 300V 5W40 UOA 2011 BMW 328i xDrive

Im planning on getting Motul 300V Competition 5W40 for my FL5 CTR, is this a bad idea?

I was recommended the Mobil 1 ESP 0W40 4X because it has a medium level of detergents and a high cSt. I live in Florida where its hotaf so the 0W part makes me squirm, I'd rather have a 5W oil. Would it really matter?

I know this is overkill for the street and I'd only be using this for the track with some street driving,

I had the Amsoil 5W30 SS but starting cSt isn't that high, its only 11 and the 12 and 13 cSts of Mobil 1 ESP and Motul 300V confer much better protection

The 0W isn’t a concern in general but especially with ESP X4 since it meets Porsche C40 so it has to undergo track or simulated track condition testing. It’s also 3.8 HTHS. 300V 5W-40 is probably fine but it’s a race oil and you’ll have to change it at shorter intervals. You can run the Motul XClean Gen 2 also.

A very informative thread that turned to be quite argumentative.
I gotta day, Ca level of this oil dod surprise me. I would have expected much less since it is a racing oil. 300V is known to be one of the more streetable racing oils, but still surprised me.

As an added info, i sent an email asking about 300v on a dual duty car, and Motul told me that aim for 3 to 5 thousand miles of OCI depending on use.
