5500 miles on a 1999 Taurus 3.0 OHV with 5w20 Mag 1 conventional. Cut it open and everything looked perfectly normal. Pleats were evenly spaced. No tears. Didn't bother taking pics because there was nothing to see.
I wonder if 5w20 has fewer problems than 5/10w30? Lower viscosity may help with cold start oil surge in the filter.
