Hi all,
I was brainstorming last night about how Royal Purple and Mobil 1 are typically a love it or hate it product here on BITOG, and how some UOAs with Mobil 1 and Royal Purple weren't the greatest (i.e. Mobil 1 sometimes showing higher Iron). But I was thinking that since I know how my car wears, and how I've gotten many UOA's on it and never had high Iron readings, that maybe I should try using Mobil 1 or Royal Purple 5W-30 to see what kind of UOA it will show in my car that has typically always shown excellent UOA's even up to over 5,000 miles. Would anyone even be interested in seeing the results of something like that? I would probably run it for 5,000 miles just like I did with Amsoil earlier this year, and it will be right after this current OCI with Pennzoil that I will run for 5,000 miles and get analyzed as well.
