Most Comfortable Bicycle Seat?

Why are some of their seats designated for e-bikes? Why do e-bikes take a special seat?
Honestly I'm not sure.
If you do go for this brand I recommend a medium or light padding saddle. No gel or heavy padding. Also the are very sensitive to setup angles. However once it's dialed in it is imo the best saddle available.

For cruising, I might try a nose-less seat? The ED issue depends on how your pelvis, sit bones is shaped and then getting a seat shape that works for you, and getting the tilt right. I ended up with a Selle SMP touring seat on my MTB, which works fine with dropper post

Comfortable Bicycle Seat is an oxymoron! Best you can hope for is tolerable!
One thing I can say with 100% certainty, if you ever see the saddle pictured below, run far far away. This thing is an implement of torture. It was the stock saddle on this 2013 Trek Madone that I picked up a couple of years ago and just haven't replaced yet. Most painful seat ever made. Will be replaced soon. I'm thinking about putting the same saddle on this bike as my mountain bike, a WTB Speed which doesn't hurt me.

Getting into the "Way back machine", my first "real" road bike, early 1990's, using the iconic "Flite" saddle. The bike was a little too big for me, particularly across the top tube. My position on the bike was quite laid out. First real ride with this steed was a metric century. Finished, and was sporting wood when done. I didn't know this was a thing, back then. Anyway, it took more than a week to regain proper function. Learned a fair bit that week, such as how petty my girlfriend (and future (ex)wife) could be. Also, learned the importance of matching your sit bone width to that of your saddle. In my case, the Flite was way too narrow for my (pelvis) body. It's one of those lessons that stays with you, and must be learned the hard way.

Lots of stories about bad bike fit. BITD a guy in our mountain bike bunch wasn't real big on doing bike fit. He decided to get a road bike and right off went on a 30+ mile ride with us and had numb junk for a couple of days after. Never rode it again.

The good thing about the Flite saddle was it was light and looked cool.

There's more bad bike positions than good ones. People almost never get a fit first, that's the easy way to pick the right size bike.

No one wants to be told they should get an endurance bike over an aggressive race oriented bike. So, they're stuck with 4cm of spacers, a reach that's way off, and a saddle that's too high.

Don't ya love modern ebike fit you see around town? Seat low with knees spread out, handlebars nip high like a begging dog, 0-45 rpm pedal stroke.... :ROFLMAO:

Lots of gravel bikes around here now.

I had been using WTB Pure saddles for years. My son destroys them by bending the rails so I always search out different saddles for his bikes. Last fall, I built him a new 29+ bike and spotted this Venzo Venture saddle on Amazon for 36 bucks. Got it, assembled the bike and when he test rode it he raved about the seat. I jumped on and tried it and now we have them on five bicycles.

I told all my friends years ago that of they ever saw me in spandex bicycle shorts and jersey to just shoot me where I stood. Cause I just wouldn't want to live that way. :ROFLMAO:
