Getting into the "Way back machine", my first "real" road bike, early 1990's, using the iconic "Flite" saddle. The bike was a little too big for me, particularly across the top tube. My position on the bike was quite laid out. First real ride with this steed was a metric century. Finished, and was sporting wood when done. I didn't know this was a thing, back then. Anyway, it took more than a week to regain proper function. Learned a fair bit that week, such as how petty my girlfriend (and future (ex)wife) could be. Also, learned the importance of matching your sit bone width to that of your saddle. In my case, the Flite was way too narrow for my (pelvis) body. It's one of those lessons that stays with you, and must be learned the hard way.
