Mos2 dosing

Yesterday I put 2/3 of a can in a 2006 LS430 after a new OCI at the dealer with Toyota motor oil... I know its a good product but I doubt I will feel any difference. The Lexus 4.3 V8 is already one of the smoothest engines I have every been around.

I also have used this product in many other applications before and I do believe it is a good product. My only doubt is the use of a full can in 5 quarts. I really do not believe that any more then a half can or so in 5 quarts is required to get any lasting benefits... That's a heck of a lot of Moly floating around in your engine, if you use a full can... LOL.

Based on your experience, what leads you to "believe it is a good product"?

After a few hundred miles of using it in some collector cars that I have owned, it quieted down and smoothed out the engine/drivetrain. I have also told some friends about it and they used it in there kids high mileage cars and it really made them run smoother. I have no idea about fuel mileage, etc but it can make an engine run smoother and quieter...

I may have already posted somthing similar. However, I used Mos2 in my high mileage BMW (not the first time)with my latest oil/filter change in the fall. Car was quieter when started and runs smoother. Car is driven very little in the winter now and I think Mos2 offers a little more protection on the, now seldom, cold weather starts. Great product. In fact, I trust all of Lubro-moly products I have used. Their Motor Oil Saver has all but eliminated minor oil seepage leaks. Plan to use it again on my next oil change.

5 years ago I hadn't even heard of liqui-moly,today I feel they are the only additive producer in the world that isn't snake oil.
All their products work as advertised. And in a market where snake oil is the norm its refreshing to find a real company producing real products that really work.
Of all the mos2 users I've read posts from I can think of 3 where they stated no change in the engines running condition. Then there are hundreds that do claim benefit.
A 97% success rate is stellar in any field, except maybe a surgeon or something.

I mix pennzoil platinum (3qts) with 120mL of Liquimoly Mos2, it antes up the Moly ppm and its smooth, though i bought a new car and started on the SOPUS synthetic oil express just right before 10,000 miles. This and Ceretec are great products, and aside from the LM line of products the only other ones i've been happy with was Motul, Redline, and BG. But i still consider Liquimoly to be the cats meow of specialty additives!

Put half can in my explorer and lX470 just in case of dry friction. Only my engines know if MoS2 is good for them or not. I did notice any differencec.
