Down here in Central Texas our fall weather is crazy. The past few days we have had heavy fog and condensation that just leaves everything soaking wet. Seems I am constantly fight water spots and the dirt that this wet weather brings . Wish I could garage the car but unfortunately I do not have that option . I have waxed the car already but not sure I am pleased with the product as I used Wolfgangs Fusion Wax . I am thinking of getting the Collinate Insulator Wax to see how much better it would be at beading the extreme morning condensation we seem to be having this year.

Unfortunately dew will bead and when it drys it will leave spots and dust rings.

If you drive it before the dew dries it should roll right off the paint.

What do you expect gain from using Collinite? - Fuzion is one of Wolfgang's finest products.

Collinite 476s is good stuff! It's all I use.

But I concur, here in NE Florida, my car is soaked with condensation every single morning. I've given up on cleaning it

Thanks for the advise guys and I have been very pleased with the Wolfgang products but it seems like the beading has worn off as I did a full car detail about 6 weeks ago .

If you're open to trying something else, I'll simply state that my last Collinite wax job was 3 months ago, and water repels perfectly. In Maryland, every morning the car is completely soaked with round balls of water from condensation. The water rolls off as the car is driven.

Hint. When first waxing with any new product, do a detailed cleaning with detergent. With Collinite 845, I found it best to put on a coat, let it set-up 1-2 days and apply another coat. Been using it for 5 years, my cars are not garage kept and this easily lasts 4-5 months provided subsequent washes are done with no strong detergents. BTW: 845 has a very low VOC solvent base and after you apply it, 24-48 hours are needed for the solvent to completely evaporate and let the wax set up. That's why you wait before the (optional) 2nd coat or hand wash.

I'm sure there are other fine products and don't want to sound overly gung-ho on Collinite but, for me, the stuff just performs so well, I have no plans to stop using it.

I applied the Wolfgang 3.0 Sealant first then wiped it off . I waited until the next day to apply the Wolfgang Fusion Wax and the car looked great and water did bead up , but now it does not seem to be beading as much . I might do another coat this weekend if the weather permits.

Around here you'd end up with a bigger mess than you started with our water is so hard. I move both my vehicles when I water the yard.

It's impossible to keep the exterior clean when it lives outside.

Keep in mind that Fuzion is a carnauba with polymers, so layering is effective and recommended for the best look and protection.

You may want to try just using Wolfgang 3.0 and see how you like it by itself.

If you use a final stage product that contains no cleaners, you can layer a few coats. I use old school Zaino Z2 Pro and put three layers on, once in the spring and again in the fall. I use their accelerator so that I can do the coats one after the other.

I'd be happy with 4-6weeks protection out of a soft Carrunba wax. For longer lasting protection you really need to look at synthetic sealants or ceramic coatings. I use the Carrnuba wax (Mothers California Gold Pure Carrnuba paste) for shows and events (including track days

) as it looks and feels awesome. but a synthetic sealant the rest of the time (Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection,) as it lasts longer.

Yes, due and water spots suck, but unless you wipe down the car before they dry you're going to be stuck with them.
