If you're open to trying something else, I'll simply state that my last Collinite wax job was 3 months ago, and water repels perfectly. In Maryland, every morning the car is completely soaked with round balls of water from condensation. The water rolls off as the car is driven.
Hint. When first waxing with any new product, do a detailed cleaning with detergent. With Collinite 845, I found it best to put on a coat, let it set-up 1-2 days and apply another coat. Been using it for 5 years, my cars are not garage kept and this easily lasts 4-5 months provided subsequent washes are done with no strong detergents. BTW: 845 has a very low VOC solvent base and after you apply it, 24-48 hours are needed for the solvent to completely evaporate and let the wax set up. That's why you wait before the (optional) 2nd coat or hand wash.
I'm sure there are other fine products and don't want to sound overly gung-ho on Collinite but, for me, the stuff just performs so well, I have no plans to stop using it.
