Mobil1 packing date in ultraviolet ink

I don't know if everyone already knows this, but it looks like Mobil1 puts the packing date(?) on their quarts of oil in ink that is only (easily) visible under UV light. Here's a picture I took with my UV lamp. The printing reads "06/08/04 20:09 LN8 1142". I just saw "National Treasure" and I was looking for invisible writing around the house and I stumbled on this. I'm bringing my UV lamp next time I buy oil.

I once asked Mobil how to determine the manufacturing date of their oil. They replied back asking me to call a number......never gave me a clue over e-mail.

I looked on the bottom of my Mobil 1 bottles and you can barely see the date with your naked eye if you hold the bottle up to a light at an angle.

Try UV on rocks! Lots of neat ones out there.

Refresh my memory. I believe you wanted to run MC 15W-40 with MC PCMO, correct?
How's it working for ya?

I'm running 5.5qts of MC 15W-40 and 1qt of RL 10W-30. So far so good!

I checked a quart bottle of Redline 5w30 and it didn't have anything in UV. I'm having fun looking at my driver's license and credit cards, though.
