That's surprising since the FF is reputed to be an E-M product which is semi-synthetic. I would imagine that any current 'full synthetic' would meet the spec.
Could it be that this oil actually meets the spec but that E-M doesn't want to pay GM the licensing fee?
 
Maybe this will turn out to be a good sleeper oil.
Weird though, they have a lot of products. All of which in Canada are excrutiatingly expensive.
 
That,s right I use synthetic because of the start up protection. Look at what Mobil did with the Mobil Clean so why take them serious???!!

QSUD meets more specs than Mobil Super Synthetic. i think i'll stick with Quaker StPlus after they cheapened the Mobil Clean I lost interest. s right and QSUD provides excellent start up protection and that ate.

According to this link: Mobil Super Synthetic, one of the Super's meets Dexos1, the 5w-30.


Look at the date of this thread. It's over two years old.
