8k in 6 months with a quart of top off added. I'd expect nothing less from this report.
I sure wouldn't run an oil rated for 5k up to 8k or more. Without the quart of added oil, this report wouldn't look so good. TBN would most likely be all gone.
I guess keeping in mind that the engine uses a little oil, this interval is do-able with this oil.
