Kind of odd isn't it.? Went to get 2 jugs of Mobil 1 FS 0w40 about 7 weeks ago at Walmart none to be found. So got some from amazon also $24.97 each decided good price so I ordered 2 more jugs. My C7 Z06 takes 9 1/2 qts so just about 2 jugs an oil change.

The Mobil would need to be 20% or more expensive for me to choose SuperTech over Mobil 1 Personally.

Nothing against SuperTech, I just prefer Vertically Integrated XOM as they are able to provide insanely good performance for value due to their market position and economy of scale.

Case in point, The Mobil 1 ESP line is a phenomenal primarily PAO/Ester base oil with an awesome additive package for $25-28 per 5qt at Walmart.

Yeah, I would also consider them a more vital company …
XOM & CVX provide much of what make boutiques unique …

IMO, Valvoline might be a threat to EOM, as Kirkland might be a threat to Supertech.
I dig the ESP product EOM offers as well as FS Euro 0w-40. Now if Supertech came out with their version of ESP 0w-30….

Yes...notice also that the SuperTech is only SN while the M1 is SQ.

Just funny that SuperTech was $1 less and XOM dropped their price to beat SuperTech by $1
Sounds crazy, but I really don't think XOM gives a rat's crapper about beating the price of a Warren Oil sub brand. It ain't like Porsche and GM have executives in a boardroom where they are considering using ST as factory fill in their engines.
