Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w20 Question

I just switched to Mobil 1 5w20 Extended Protection from their 5-30 EP oil.

My question is, the 5-30 is A5 and the 5-20 is A1. My understanding is, A5 is for long drains? If 5-20 is A1 how does that jive with the extended drain intervul of 5-20EP? What is the differance between A1 and A5? Hope this is clear.

To many details for my old feeble mind. Mobil says it made to go 15K, I have no problem pushing it to 10K.

And besides, we drive Fords. Just worry about the API spec.

Mobil 1 5w20 Extended Protection will serve you well in the winter with your 10k miles OCI. I have a nice stash of Mobil 1 5w20 Extended Protection that I will be using in my Ford vehicle.
