Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0w-20 schedule

I've only seen a couple used oil analysis on the T24A-FTS. Both of those had over 3% fuel dilution in roughly 5k OCI's, one using 5w30 (3% @ 4300 miles) and the other using 0w20 (4.9% @ 4900 miles). Those are the only 2 data points I've seen and you won't know if yours is similar unless you do a used oil analysis. If that's universal with that engine, I wouldn't go past 5k intervals no matter if you stick with 0w20 or Xw30. In my Subaru Ascent, I see over 5% fuel dilution in as little as 4k mile intervals, so I stick with roughly 3k-4k intervals.

As far as specific oil recommendations, I don't have any. My preferences are Valvoline Restore and Protect, Amsoil and Mobil 0w30 ESP in no particular order. If I had a new Tacoma with the T24A, I'd probably use Mobil 0w30 ESP or Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30 because I like to pickup oil off the shelf when I need it.
Just received my sample today. 2% of fuel dilution after 3K: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/t...-miles-2025-lexus-tx500h.403755/#post-7491238

define "low."
Most oem oil temp "gauges" are just calculated algorithm values, not actually measured. Better than a stick in the eye, I suppose.

Dont know, 1 bar. I think it shows 4 when fully warmed up. The digital gauges seem to be accurate, my oil pressure gauge confirms that to me. Fluctuates very well due to conditions instantly.

I actually do the same on my truck. Part of it is just from a little OCD, but also I've gotten over 5 years out of my truck's battery with a pretty demanding service life. Lots of cold starts and short trips. I think the Battery Tender helps a little bit. I put an outlet in my garage in front of both cars for this reason. I need to see about getting some leads routed to the grill so I don't have to pop the hood.
I got 10 years out of my Tacomas battery and I lived in the Upper Michigan for much of that time. That and I never parked in a garage. Always outside.
If it makes you feel better have at it, but its not needed, nore beneficial IMO.

seems like factory original stuff like batterys ,wipers etc lasts longer than many aftermarket items.

I strongly believe that! The battery in my 2016 Civic is the original one and had no problem starting the other day when it was -13C (I know that’s not super cold, but it’s still impressive) The battery in my 2018 Corvette is also the original one. When I replace both of them I will be going with OEM again

That's an impressive run. Is it a Toyota Truestart battery?

I think with Mobil 1 Extended Performance and probably the GM OLM analog you take the oil down to 0-5%.

The service replacement battery is different than the factory installed battery. You will never be able to obtain the same battery for replacement.

Which is sad. My motorcraft batteries in my 2000 diesel lasted 11 yrs and were never on a maintainer. But then again that truck had no draw when it was shut off and an alternator that just cranked out at least 13.5 all the time. They just never gave up. Since then that trucks had at least 4 sets.

Well, since this went battery. 2013 rav4 4, everstart max from Walmart and replaced last week lasted 7 years and 3 months. I got another last week.
