It was fun to be with the Miss Geico boat yesterday on Lake Michigan. It is very sad to see this partnership with the team and Geico come to an end this year. We will certainly continue our relationship with the team as they move forward and hope their next sponsor will be an even better one. These guys are a very classy organization.

You are correct. They have yet to be rebuilt. With the Covid interruption I'm not sure of the race count however it is probably around the 20 mark. The filters always come out squeaky clean.

you should have seen the writing on the wall a lot sooner than this.

when geico dropped support of their mx/sx motorcycle racing team way back in feb/mar (which probably costs them pennies compared to this boat)

im not sure, but i think geico has pulled their support from ever single racing effort they were in.

They didn't say it was a surprise, just that it was sad to see it come to an end.

i was off some...it was announced in october 2020. which concluded 23 years (1998 - 2020) of mx/sx racing team and support.
