I’d love that! Saw a Donzi Sweet 16 coming out of the marina Wednesday. It was just idling through and sounded like a drag car with the open exhaust and high performance camshaft. I assume it’s a small block Ford. Just as he cleared the no wake buoys he let it rip. The lake was choppy (wind) and I wondered if he would enjoy the chop and spray. He came back pretty quick. Both his he and his gal were laughing but wet. I left the lake pretty early because of the wind but it ain’t any fun unless you try it!!

Glad you were able to properly diagnose it and resolve the issues rather quickly and (I hope) cheaply.

I do wonder though, whether a rubber hose should be included in the exhaust route. Wouldn't some type of metal flex pipe be a better solution instead? Forgive me, I'm only slightly familiar with boating having recently acquired a jet boat.

the exhaust is water cooled at that point [ cooling water returned to lake/ ocean and exhaust mixed together and discharged.
