CFS 0w20

DESCRIPTION:
Competition full synthetic engine oil. Formulated with 100% synthetic base fluids, including a synergistic blend of three esters, combined with the latest additive technology for maximum performance.

APPLICATION:
Use as received for competition engines where maximum power release is the preferred criteria, especially for
qualifying or shorter duration events where the engine has been designed for this type of crankcase lubricant.
Intended for racing and track use only – not recommended for road use.

USER BENEFITS:
• Fully synthetic oils provide many outstanding performance benefits over conventional mineral oil.
• By utilising both polyalphaolefins (PAO) and ester synthetics specially selected to minimise the amount of polymer used, the lubricant film provided is more resistant to ‘shear’ and viscosity loss in highly stress areas.

Quote:
Although the amount of ester varies according to the particular
formulation, Millers uses “more than ten percent” in its CFS
(Competition Full Synthetic) blends of motorsport oils. With PAO
sourced from the UK and France and esters from UK and Germany,
the two provide 70-75% of the overall volume of the finished product,
which ensures that the retail cost is “Reassuringly Expensive,” as Mann
and Longdon remark in unison.

Quote:
we use very high viscosity index base oils
and we minimize the addition of VM in all our competition oils. In this
way our lubricant is much more likely to stay in grade for longer

Their 5w40 has a VI of 190.

Quote:
• The synergistic blend of three esters gives improved lubricity, reducing friction and enhancing the oils performance.
• CFS 5w40 provides the optimum balance between hydrodynamic and boundary lubrication and the power absorbed through pumping losses to ensure maximum power release..

regulations essentially require engine oils to shear down to combat
inevitable thickening due to oxidation.

LOL. I feel the same. I briefly shopped for it online and only saw British websites selling it. If you find an American source, let me know!

I was told about Millers many years ago as the best. I basically forgot all about it but this months Performance BMW mag has a Millers ad. XF Long Life is the new top of the line. Definitely an oil I'd like to get my hands on!

Sounds like an add for a "mood enhancer".
