Milestar tires AS710

Being built by Nokian at their newest factory in Dayton,TN.USA. Looks like a good tire. I plan on getting a set next week.
Sorry to bump a very old thread. But are these Milestars still made in the USA, does anyone know?

I know they may not be the best tires on the road but I need new tires for my Mazda6, which previously was my primary family car and has been relegated to the second car. I no longer am interested in buying the best possible tires for it because my family doesn't ride in it with me very much, and my wife never drives it anymore. These Milestars are only $111 each for 225/45/19 which is at least $60/tire better than anything else I had been considering.

Anyways I try to buy American as much as I can, and also try not to buy any Chinese tires under any circumstances.

I did buy a set of the 710s and they where made in the US at that time. I've heard they have moved production for this model
overseas now. I have been satisfied with these 710s.

Regardless of country of manufacturer-they are one of the belter built "low end" tires.

Is the Milestar AW365 available in your size? Perhaps an all-weather tire might be more appropriate for where you are
I actually have a second set of wheels with studless snow tires on them already :) a set of really great Blizzaks. I've been really impressed with them as well. They are on their third winter and still feel great in snow and ice (I actually just got back from taking my kids to school in the snow and ice we got last night).

I'm still not ready to take the plunge on AW tires, personally. I need to get educated on them, I know, but I am already prepared to have winter tires on all my cars and I'm years away from needing new winter tires.

I've actually been using sticky summer tires on my Mazda sedan for the dry season for the past 6-7 years. (You can't really get anything sticky in sizes for big vehicles like my BMW X5 -- probably because it would make the vehicle too easy to roll in an avoidance maneuver.)

I'm just amazed at how expensive tires have become and so I'm trying to find a way to spend less on tires. I'd rather get my third set set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evos but the price went up to around $900 installed! Holy smokes.
