We are in Spain with one of these vehicles now converted to a campervan and notice that the oil has dropped a bit and we have several 1000's miles yet to do before returning to the UK so would like to get a spare bottle sent to my aunt so its there in southern Spain when we arrive there in a week or so.

In the UK we would buy Mercedes Benz 5W-30 MB 228.51 oil but on Amazon Spain I can only find 5W-30 MB 229.51

Is that OK for her ?

Yes, it's okay. I'm pretty sure that 229.51 supersedes 228.51

MB228.51 is the spec for trucks and vans, 229.51 for cars. I don't expect you can find the truck spec in 1L bottles but maybe in 5L jugs. Otherwise it's going to be drums

You should be ableto find Shell Rimula R6 LME 5W-30 fairly easily in parts stores such as AD Parts ,or online on sites like Endado etc.
The last time i went to the one that is closest to my house they had it., i recall some Shell stations also sell it?

It seems like they also sell their own brand 5W30 that meets that spec called " AD SDV 5W30 - Sintético Diesel Euro V-VI "
