Da [censored] is this? I usually have to do Site to store at Walmart in Woodbridge
to obtain Maxlife @ a reasonable price, And in Gallon containers....
But wait, There's more. It's $$ Less then WalMart or Amazon.......
Very unlike AZ

$4 off WM prices, and $7 off Amazon price's.
That's a bargain, And I will be gaining many AZ reward's point's as I stock up.

Moral of story, Stock up on Maxlife
My local AZ has also started to Stock PU Euro 0w/5w-40. BUT NOT REGULAR PU
That specialty oil @ nearly $10 a quart isn't something I would expect to sell well to the 3 Ferrari Owners on Staten Island.....

I just picked a jug up here in New Yorkistan last wee at AZ in Wappinger NY. The gallon is $24!! YES $24. Wally doesn't carry it here. It was $22 for a looong tine when everyone else was about $17.

Why???????????????

I saw this last weekend at an AZ in our area.
I was actually poking around for clearance oil I might actually want.
There wasn't any.
I should have bought some of the Maxlife, since it's $17.50 a gallon at those Meijers that carry the jug or $4.99 by the qt.

Unfortunately ML gallon jug availability at AZ is on a limited local/regional basis. Unavailable in store or ship to home in this region. Stocking up not possible.

Surprisingly good ML price though, especially for an AZ every day price. Looks like the've recently added Mercon LV to the ML Dex/Merc label.

I was specifically referencing the front label advertising, not rear panel 'recommended for' listing. Have a jug purchased within the last six months that only says ML Dex/Merc. I wonder if PQIA 100 C viscosity Mercon spec issue was an influence on the decision to add it to the front label.

Picked up two today.
I also used a $20.00 AZ card I found in my wallet which must be from the Nextgen extravaganza of 2012.
AZ had Maxlife Nextgen 10W-40 on clearance for less than the gift card amount at the time.
Seems kind of right to use it to buy a Valvoline product.

Hmm . . . suitable for Mercon V? The spec sheet says so, the Brookfield viscosity is within spec, 40°C & 100°C viscosity look decent (slightly lower than other Mercon V fluids), and the phosphorus seems to be on par with others. Does it have the appropriate friction modifiers I wonder?

Bought 2 out of the 3 left at my local AZ.
Might go back for the other one and bundle other stuff up to $20 to get the point.

I have to check stock of the other 2 AZ's on the Island.
