Wife saw this on the auto trader when she was looking at M3's:

One year newer than mine, same colour scheme. I haven't seen it in person, but it appears to be in good shape. Price is also very good if the car is in as good of shape as it appears to be.

LOL! I think the drones mostly get 328s and X5s, not M5s

Nice car! I love that generation of M5 they are so pure compared to the newer high tech ones.

Buy it, why not own two??

How many M cars have you driven and what didn't you like about them?

Its just a drone response due to jealousy. Ill drive my 20 yo E30 over most new econoboxes. They just arent the same.

Most folks want an appliance, that is where the drones are.

That's the point, it isn't priced high. It is quite in-line with what they go for and relatively cheap for one in the condition this one appears to be in up here in Canada.

There were a whopping 10,000 E39 M5's imported to North America from 1999 to 2003. It is a 400HP, 190Mph extremely well appointed sedan.

BTW, I don't believe anybody questioned your ability to afford one or not, so I'm not sure why you brought that up

Two different M3s...i didnt FIT in one. (That generation 3series just does not fit me comfortably.) The other...nothing below 3000RPM was my biggest gripe. Also, darty steering & a jumpy clutch.

Not even mentioning the heart stopping repair costs.
