I'm just amazed that M1-AP hit the market with such a thud. I would have expected lots of discussion and conjure about the oil - is it GTL, or PAO or group 5, or...
I think XOM priced themselves right out of the BITOG market because Mobil isn't a boutique oil, and $50 for a 5 quart jugs is just too pricey. And, the biggest competition for M1-AP is M1-EP. You get a full year or 15,000 miles for half the price.
We have a nice Walmart nearby, and I never see any gaps in the stock of M1-AP, so it ain't selling well at Walmart either. The M1-EP is selling well though - typically only a jug or two when I check.
Y'all have any thoughts on this?
