Obviously, I'm very pleased with these results when compared to my 4,700 mile UOA on M1 0W-40. Single-digit lead!! Near-single-digit iron!!!

The only constants between the two are:
1) The K&N still hasn't been cleaned,
2) No oil was either added or used,
3) We still have that hideous driving style of eternal short trips, errands & city driving, all during sub-zero winters.
The differences are:
1) The oil,
2) The oil filter,
3) The Auto-Rx clean/rinse (M1 5W-40 rinse oil UOA here),
4) The sampling method. I finally bought a sampling pump, so I no longer have to get under the car & catch the sample from a skewed drain plug.
After taking the sample, I changed the filter with a new PureOne & topped up with approximately 24 oz of fresh M1 5W-40. I'll run this to 9k mi, when I'll take another sample & then change both the oil & filter. From that point on I'll leave the filter in place for the entire interval. (I changed it this time to duplicate the filter swap during the 0W-40 OCI, & also to remove any additional junk released from the A-Rx clean/rinse.)
As usual, if I've left anything out I'll mention it when someone says something that reminds me of it.
