Say Lucas Fuel System Cleaner at Can. Tire the other day. It says that it's an Upper Cyclinder Lubricant that serves to lubricate the valves, stems etc..

However, probably due to the bilingual Eng/French labelling and the fact that the bottle is tiny (250 ml)the tiny bottle fails to mention where it goes in...crankcase or fuel tank??? It's thicker...almost like a thin machine oil. Is it an oil or cleaner? Is this stuff any good? Comments?

I have been using it for over a year now and it consistently gives me a 5% increase in gas mileage. Therefore, it pays for itself and then some. It will lube the injectors and fuel pump as well as the upper cylinders. I mix three ounces for ten gallons of gas. Haven't tried any other ratios other than what's recommended on the bottle. I learned about it by using in diesel fuel, and the bottle says you can mix it with gas too, so I established a baseline mileage and then checked it after using the Lucas. From everything I have seen it works as advertised.

They are what they are. Some people are happy with them. I used them for years. They are on the low end of the products on the market... but there are a lot of snakeoil products, at least theirs does something...

Could you please explain? This is the exact opposite of the benefits Lucas claims for this product. I believe Fuel Power contains oil too, and people seem very happy with that product.

LOL Give us a friggin break! Told? By whom? Not by anyone who has used their products. They DO NOT make low end products. Their UCL IMO is superb. Cleans, better mpg.

I am also a Redline and Synergyn fan, but Lucas DOES what they advertise.

Just because a product is not expensive...does not make it cheap

Shame on you for trashing a fine company
