Lucas Oil ... very poor customer service and low satisfaction

Simply weighed it comparing the number on the scale with the bottle (473 ml) and actual 438 ml. Lucas agreed the bottle should weigh more after they reviewed the pics I sent them. I'm not using grams but mililiters. The bottle packaging makes no reference to grams either.
ml is volume. G is weight.

You can’t weigh milliliters any more than you can weigh pints.

How many liters do you weigh?

Or does your scale measure in pints, too?

That’s just your opinion. Imagine a world where grievances couldn’t be addressed when someone dismisses something as irrelevant or without merit. There would be no objective, informed parties to weigh in.

As for the issue, this is false advertising, and while the poster above asked if such legislation exists, it does. It violates the weights and measures laws in nearly every state. I wouldn’t be surprised if you’d be fine with paying for 3.78 liters of engine oil and only getting 3.5.

Btw. The mod here edited my thread title and removed unethical Lucas.
That is not opinion.

The difference between weight and volume is simple fact.

They are completely different properties.

The mod here is about to close this thread as trolling, unless you can explain how you “weighed” a volume.

If you weighed a liter of helium - what should it weigh?

If you want to waste some bureaucrats time, contact your local state Weights and Measurements department. They are usually under the Department of Agriculture in most states.

What’s heavier, a hundred pounds of feathers or a hundred pounds of stone?
In this case - they are the same.

However, a hundred pounds of gold would be considerably lighter than either since gold is measured in Troy ounces and Troy has 12 ounces to the pound.

... even though the troy oz in grams is heavier than avoirdupois oz in grams **

Is this product compatible with either of my cars?

Joking aside, Lucas is Lucas… they sell mostly worthless stuff for high prices. Why did you even buy it to begin with?
