I don’t think I have the “run time” to be in your “long term user” category. I’ve got HPL in several cars, and I’m pleased with the performance.
I‘ve cut the filter and found the carbon material deposits that others have. In an engine with a steady diet of synthetic at reasonable intervals, that was surprising, but not worrisome. I have no oil consumption, in most of the engines, and I’m working on the cause in the 300,000 mile Volvo XC.
I have a couple of cars with very expensive, very high performance, engines. The M275 twin turbo V-12. I trust HPL enough to run it in them.
I think the best feedback on long term use is from Wayne Wilson’s experience. See these threads.

This sample was pulled from my 2014 Dodge Durango with a total of 152,000 miles and 12,000 miles on the oil. The oil is HPL's 5w-20 CK-4 based formula and has been run since Feb 9, 2022, about 14.5 months. The lab is Wearcheck. There is still cleaning taking place. This is the filter thread I...

This sample was pulled from my 2016 Dodge Charger 3.6L with 66,000 total miles and 11,000 miles on the oil and 27.5 months in the sump and the consumption was zero. The oil filter was changed at 5,000 and 10,000 miles total, as the oil is cleaning carbon from the internals as we saw in my...
