Loctite PL 8x vs 3x adhesive

No expert but project farm did a comparison with construction adhesives, I believe the 8x came out on top with the 3x not far behind, maybe loosing to jb weld or 3m 5200.
Personally I love the 3x works great for wood and general construction adhesive. I’ve even set all thread in concrete with it( not critical).

Not sure what you're using it for or trying to show, but it's not a good idea to have wood against a block wall unless it's pressure treated. Moisture in the block will rot the wood. If you were gluing the wood to the wall, is that the excess that squeezed out? If so, you should have removed that with a putty knife if you don't like the appearance.

Interesting. Are you using it as an adhesive, or as a caulk/gap filler type product?
So the 3x laid down and self flattened to a much smoother finish than the 8x?
Do we know what 8x vs 3x connotates? Is it cure time or something? Strength?

Block was never painted or sealed on the inside. So I bought Henry 107 Asphalt Emulsion Sealer and Damp proofer Roof Coating 0.90 gal. Roller paint brush wasn't ideal and used a 3" brush. Will now use PPG primer.
I saw that video. Which was why I went with Locktite instead of the other options. And PPG Primer in another video of his.
edit used it as a caulk/gap filler

why not use good polyurethane caulk? Construction adhesive doesn't have the stretch that a proper caulk does.
