Remeber to tithe 10 % to the church of Luqui Moly... It is written.....
My long one was my MK4 2000 Jetta, 220K when I sold it almost all M1 0W40/10Kmi changes. Nearly all highway driving. Why even use M1? Supertech would do the same thing in those Hondas.2001 Honda Civic 288000 when traded in.....2004 Honda Civic 299000 when traded in...and a 2007 Honda Accord 386000 when traded it in....ALL on a lesser oil....Mobil 1 and NO oil additives either...Liqui Moly nope....Schlangenol....![]()
You are probably right on that...My long one was my MK4 2000 Jetta, 220K when I sold it almost all M1 0W40/10Kmi changes. Nearly all highway driving. Why even use M1? Supertech would do the same thing in those Hondas.
My buddy's mom who bought the Jetta from me, I had it 14 years/220K took it up to ~300K! All on the original clutch.....You are probably right on that...
To me, any modern vehicle driven "normally" on basic syn oil changed at ~5K should go easily to 200K at least on the engine lubrication part of things. Folks here have to keep in mind that some of us push these cars well beyond what your average BITOGer does with his 20 year old Camry and for that, I'll use all the crap I can ahhahahaYou are probably right on that...
The issue is variable control w/r to mpgs with changes like this....hard to tell.Any reports about lowerd fuel Consumption because of lowerd friction of the engine when you use these additives?
That is a point nobody here at BITOG considers when it comes to LM MoS² and Ceratec addtives, it seems.![]()
