Well....no lions or tigers but we've certainly got more than our share of groundhogs this year.

I prefer to just let them do their thing but this year they are determined to live under our house and garage....four yesterday and nine today lost their lives. It's a shame since they have over ten acres to live on and choose to live, apparently, with us.

We truly enjoy our wildlife but the mice and groundhog numbers are staggering!

get some vibrator sanders. put a metal rod to them and put in ground. the vibration will drive the critters out.

Bring home a championship, sorry tablet auto correct is driving me crazy.
Put metal rod in ground. How deep? How close to the house?
Then place orbital sander to said rod to create vibration.

I've got battery-operated vibrators (hahaha - I meant the kind you buy at TSC not the "other" kind - my wife is still laughing at what I wrote!) but the vibrators didn't do much good....maybe the sander/metal rod would do better but I would need a pile of them....this is a big place and the hogs don't seem to favor any distinct area.

The only effective means right now are a .22 Mag or 20 ga. It is truly a shame to kill them and no matter how many I relocate, they keep coming and coming.

.22 or exotic high powered air rifle is the best method, early in spring before they breed. They eat all kinds crops, flowers gardens. They are a common pest that cause a lot of damage around these parts.
