Lets talk about new vehicles

I did a UPS run earlier.
I can't wait to see the spring and summer mpgs...

I mean, I like it otherwise. But the fuel economy is disappointing. To be fair, partly the Michelin CC2 is responsible - I saw a noticeable drop in fuel economy as soon as I put them on. Thankfully I don't drive that much.

Yeah when gas was over $5 I don't like 25 mpg either but most in that
Niche like an outlander sport does likewise overall...

Even my EcoBeast gets 25. That 60 on the Maverick is insane. My Jetta got 40, all gas and lead footed driver.

I don't for the life of me understand why we are not all in on hybrids now and put off this EV madness for 20 years while we get it right. Well actually I do know why but I can't discuss it here.

My Z06 with 405 HP would get 28-30 mpg on the highway driving normal highway speeds. Good aerodynamics Cd and good torque at low RPM in 6th gear made that happen. It was only revving around 1700-1800 RPM at 70 MPH in 6th gear.
