Lets talk about new vehicles

The auto high beams are the most accurate I have had. Far better than Mitsubishi. I use that feature all the time. Auto hold is great too.
It spoils you...
I didn't know Mitsubishi made auto high beams. I thought they just recently figured out projector headlights

I have prostituted myself to the lowest bidder and did unspeakable things to obtain the ultimate
long range road cruiser. Obviously I have failed and need your help.

What I require............

* Great seats for a bad back and I do not like tiny bottoms in my rides but- never mind... ; )
* Roomy- I hate when they put you in a cubicle like a Ford Taurus
* No Fords- I hate their seats
* No pickups- AWD or FWD fine- CVT is okay
* Very quiet with minimal road noise
* If hwy mpg is below 25 mpg- no thanks- The more the better- MORE!
* Hybrid ok
* Don't need a prestige brand- been there before
* Reliable- Sometimes I will put 3-4K miles on in one week
* Car-SUV-CUV okay
* Budget.. $25K-$55K NEW!

Thanks!
Sounds reasonable except I have not been on the "new" car lots since around 2020 so who knows what type of mark ups or MSRPs you will run into. Try what a lot of folks do and shop the internet for a while to scope prices before you even leave the house so you know what to expect. I have done that once and even called several dealers and talked my price over the phone. We then drove 45 mi to that dealership and they stuck to the deal and we drove it home same day. That was a one of a kind deal that went off great.

Everyone is piling in to Palisade / Atlas / whatever. The OEM's are happy to please by selilng $50K cars that cost not much more than a sedan to build. When people figure out there is a war in the middle east and global oil prices shoot up, there will be a million reporters on TV saying the OEM's don't build small cars anymore and its their fault somehow.
There has been conflict in the Middle East for the last several months and I paid $1.43 a gallon two days ago. It doesn't seem to be reflecting in gas prices- YET!

Yes, in theory it shouldn't because we produce enough ourselves. But oil prices are driven by global functions.

At some point - next month, next year, next decade, there will be a problem, and people will blame the OEM's or big oil or whomever but themselves- like 1973, and 1980, and 2008, and may of 2022.

But your right, I am surprised the dustups aren't affecting much yet also.

What happened to no fords and no pickups?

I also did not buy from my local Ford dealers which are a big part of the problem plus they had none.
And I might add it uses a real key 🔑 😏

I understand some fools here easily lose keys 🔑 🙃 😅
I'm only losing my mind and no keys.

I actually like the switchblade key.
Just like the old Cmax

I have the switchblade and my wife has the passive entry (keyless). I like the switchblade better because I take my keys out of my pocket when I'm in her car anyway.

Plus we have the door code option to lock the keys in the vehicle.
