Me eitherView attachment 102789
Looked at this has a big block (MEL motor?) and three on the tree
I decided I don't like the rear window right behind my head.
I sit back too far AND hit my head on it.

I reminds me of the rides you went on at the fairgrounds in the 50's and 60's - the rocket cars! They had one like it here
Took forever to sell though
I like it.
We have like 2 dealers in a 100 mileThe very newest ones stick out very sharp (and are not real common) but VW sold basically the same car with multiple updates from 2012 through 2022 so they are plentiful. Lots of older diesels running around too.
IMO the 2012 plus versions were quite reliable although also "Americanized". Previous generations were true German cars and really felt like it, however that was far enough back VW was still plagued by some reliability issues. Very solid cars though, I still see plenty of 2006 Passats and the like, and usually (like all German makes) they still look real good despite the age.
There's a I don't know what year (maybe 98?) diesel Jetta on campus with 300k on it and it still looks very good despite it's age. Typical but it's owned by a VW guy who knows how to maintain it as well as work on it as need be.
Cool! Much more refined than your little Mitsubishis I should think.I noticed my VW dealer is now taking off $1500 off of new Taos..
Yup...the black wheels always look dirty...Cool! Much more refined than your little Mitsubishis I should think.
There is one at work I keep eyeballing lol. White but has horrid black wheels gag.
No because I have several ride settings and a custom option where I keep the power up but weaken the suspension to float like an old Buick and at 32 psi those tires are hard as a rock..Never thought of it before. You sure you're not just confusing the Euro firmer ride?
My Passat had Conti Pro Contacts I didn't notice they were particularly hard but they probably were it was clear I was going to get 70k out of them.
Jetta has cheap OEM Falken honestly they feel squishy to me but again could be suspension partly Jetta is fully Americanized the Arteon is truly German.
Never saw a "Stude" I did not like. It is unreal how many , once popular automobile companies / brands haveStude may like this ...

The Hankooks we had rode really well and handled great BUT........@KCJeep
I didn't do my homework so excuse me... Last year I fitted a Mitsui with 90k Hankook tires. Very stiff.
I am thinking VW is using harder durometer tires for the increase in mpg. My VW uses Romanian Contis
at 32 psi cold per VW specs they are rather stiff. Need to study up on it.
Thoughts?
That's cool! Yeah I don't have that.
I am at McDonald's now in mine.Tha'

Did a search yesterday 22 Arteons are showing up! I see what I think is a new color, at least I don't remember it. It's called Moonstone, looks fantastic on the Arteon. Might be Alfa's undoing!![]()
