Lets talk about new vehicles

I have had so many cvts without issue. Never had one in for service.
Get used to it.
I here of basic transmission failures daily and at 70-100k miles. Thats all we ever got out of our GM truck fleet
I’m used to it. I see Nissan all the time with a bad one lol. They were worse when they first came out though.

You can not be objective about anything new. I owned and drove all of that stuff you covet and another 40 some years of other stuff.
Most early vehicles were Crap.
Easier to fix but Crap. Just the sad reality. Like a Nova....pure junk and a death trap. Simple and old is synonymous....but great? Nope.

You know I’m just giving you a hard time Jim. One major improvement they did was eliminate points and condensers lol.

Push button start > key start. Just saying 😁

I did get highly confused the other week. Stopped and got gas in the Camry. Went inside and came back out. Tried to unlock the door like the Tacoma by just pulling the door handle. Wouldn't unlock, what the heck is wrong with this thing!? Oh yea, gotta use the fob... Also keep pressing the imaginary button to turn it off even though I started it with a key...
