Well it was convenient. I cross referenced a Fram for it and dad said no because of clearance issues because the Fram is longer. Now just wait till I get the SuperTech for the John Deere lol. Her car gets Mobil 1 5W-20 and sometimes 5W-30 oil haha. I told her John Deere was junk at least the fake John Deere she bought.

I found the Altima super easy to do maintenance on. Even the cvt.
One negative is the oil filter but a Fram Ultra resolves that.
If I move to Florida the local dealer has a full synthetic change for $20.
Weekday special.

I have to investigate it more but early cvt issues were blamed on the producer of Nissan fluid as well as other issues. I know they dumped the fluid producer for Idemitsu.

Several in the the know sources have stated this.
Funny thing several have commented Amsoil is the best cvt fluid and as a shocker the cheapest.

I have had so many cvts without issue. Never had one in for service.
Get used to it.
I hear of basic transmission failures daily and at 70-100k miles. Thats all we ever got out of our GM truck fleet

The biggest screw up ever is trying to make a cvt have shift points.
