dont believe everything you read on the internet.....I'm sure it's powerful, but the internet suggests that it's unreliable, just like literally every other manufacturer's turbo 1.5L engine.

I have known many fans of Amsoil cvt goodness. We are headed for 130K miles, changed to Amsoil CVT way back, not changing again.
Back in the early days after 1982 and onward the TH700R4 and in modern times but I no longer work on any my brother goes through late model GM transmission at the same rate without towing etc .... most contractors have similar stories...Which transmission died at 70K. So I can add it to my ongoing database?
At what miles did you change? We are headed for 130K miles, changed to Amsoil CVT way back, not changing again.
30K or soAt what miles did you change?
I have a 25 Accord Hybrid and agreeThe new Honda CVT is an absolute gem. I'm not sure if it's a proper CVT actually - the system is sort of different from conventional ones.
Tried the Civic Hatchback Hybrid when I was shopping around and it felt close in behavior to a manual, which is high praise in my book. Now, that civic is a 2.0 so I'm not sure where it stands vs the previous ones.
Yeah while stuffing his face with fast foodPatman could drive his Vette in that dusting![]()
I wouldn’t drive my current Vette in that but I did used to drive my 98 Corvette in the snowPatman could drive his Vette in that dusting![]()
I agree, but it's either very slow, either very loud, or both. Otherwise it's a beautiful car.A few Corolla SE reviews popped up on YT recently and I ended up watching them.
My first new car out of college I went with a Corolla. I chose it because I was driving 50k miles a year. The car did not disappoint.
I would argue that the Corolla SE non hybrid is the best new car or one of the best you can buy on the market right now if reliability and price is top concern.
2.0 with port AND DI. NA.
CVT with a 1st gear.
No oil consumption issues.
